Papiroflexia (Spanish for "Origami") is the animated tale of Fred, a skilful paper folder  who, one day, realizes he don’t like the world the way it is, and starts shaping it with his own hands.

The whole movie has been animated on paper, then inked on paper and scanned, and finally composited in After Effects. For the detailed workflow, refer to CG Talk. It sounds painful, but the result is gorgeous!
Created by Joaquin Baldwin at the UCLA Animation Workshop, 2007. Original Score written by Nick Fevola.
